摘要
以是否迷信为标准来评判中国文化显得不合时宜,但涉及鬼神、驱邪、风水等民间信仰、仪式的非物质文化遗产还是会被放到迷信的定义中加以评定。与迷信标准类似的,是文化价值判断的进步/落后、精华/糟粕二元论。非物质文化遗产概念给"风水"这样的遗产一个"申遗"的现身机会,它成为非物质文化遗产的"试金石"。凭借这样的案例,我们得以探测非物质文化遗产这个概念的普适度,并且发现处于转型期的中国文化生态、日常生活是如何纠缠于我们本以为早已消失的认识论和意识形态之争,这些深层次的问题尚需严肃对待和仔细梳理。
Though it is not reasonable to assess Chinese culture from the perspective of superstition, such intangible cultural heritages as the folk beliefs and rituals, including spirit-worship, ghost-driving and Chinese Fengshui geomancy, are often assessed from the perspective of superstition, which is a kind of dualism based on the criterion of advancement/quintessence or backwardness/dross. Now, the application for the entry into the list of world cultural heritages is a "touchstone" for the assess ment of the criteria of intangible cultural heritages. It also helps reveal the epistemological and ideological disputes over the cultural ecology and daily life of the Chinese people in the transitional period and what are the deep-rooted problems waiting for solution.
