摘要 现代隐喻研究认为,隐喻不仅是一种修辞现象,更是人类普遍的一种思维方式、一种认知手段。本文在阐述了隐喻能力概念的基础上探讨了隐喻能力与语言能力及交际能力的关系,并对如何在英语教学中培养学生的隐喻能力做了初步探讨。 The modem research on metaphor holds the view that metaphor is not only rhetorical phenomenon but also an important mental facility and cognitive instrument. After elaborating on the concept of metaphoric competence, this paper deals with the relationship among metaphoric competence, linguistic competence and communicative competence, and does a preliminary study on howto cultivate students metaphoric competence in English teaching.
