摘要
以数量遗传学理论为基础的动物育种方法在过去几十年的畜禽育种改良中起到了巨大的作用 ,也必将在相当长的时期内起主导作用。分子生物学的迅猛发展使人们在分子水平上对动物的遗传物质进行操作正在逐渐成为现实 ,进而为动物分子育种奠定了基础。与传统的动物选种方法相比 ,标记辅助选择是直接对基因型进行选择 ,因而其选种的准确性将大大提高。同时 ,转基因技术的成功应用还能充分利用所有可能的遗传变异 ,根据人们的需求创造出一些非常规性的畜牧产品。可以预言 ,分子育种将成为未来动物育种的重要方法。
The conventional animal breeding methods based on the theoriesof quantitative genetics have played and will play an importantrole in animal breeding and improvementduring the pastand nextdecades.With the fastdevelop- ment of molecular biology,it is becoming reality that manipulating the genetic materials on the molecular level directly; and this is the basis of the animal molecular breeding.Comparing with the conventional selection methods,the marker- assisted selection(MAS) is selection on genotype directly,and thusits accuracy will be increased significantly.The appli- cation of transgenic animal technique can also make use of all possible genetic variation,and creat some unconventional husbandry products according to people′s demands.It can be predicted thatthe molecularbreeding will be the important method of the future animal breeding.
