The concept and evolution of academic medical careers as well as its revelation to China

摘要 通过历史发展的视角介绍了学术医学职业的起源、发展和现状，并分析了其未来的发展趋势。以期为正面临医疗卫生体制改革的我国医学教育提供启示。 This paper reviewed the origin, the evolution and the present status of academic medi- cal careers. And it further analyzed the international developmental trend of academic medical careers. The aim is to offer some revelations for the practices of national medical education which is facing the reforms of Chinese medical and healthcare system.
