摘要
弱势群体问题现已成为社会关注的热点。如何为弱势群体服务，既是重大的民生问题，又是构建和谐社会必须解决的大问题。文章站在贯彻落实科学发展观，坚持以人为本的高度，阐述了弱势群体及其特征，论述了图书馆对弱势群体服务在构建和谐社会中的必要性和重要性，提出了图书馆为弱势群体服务的具体举措。参考文献4。
the issues of vulnerable groups have become the focus of society. How to provide service for them is not only an important livelihood issue but also a big problem addressed in building a harmonious society. Standing in the height of implementing the scientific outlook on development and adhering to the people - oriented principle, the paper elaborates the necessity and importance of library special service for vulnerable groups in building a harmonious society, and puts forward specific measures for the purpose of improving library special service. 4 Refs.
