摘要
评议会作为一项起源于中世纪大学教师行会组织的一项制度设计,在美国大学机构中普遍设立,为教授治学提供了强有力的制度保障。文章通过探析美国大学评议会的人员及机构设置、基本职责、运行机制、与行政团队的关系等方面入手,认为美国大学评议会具有章程规定详细可操作、运作方式多元、教师拥有绝对权威、运行过程自下而上、成员代表分配合理等特点。
The academic senate was originated in Medieval European Universities. Nowadays, most of universities in America have been set up this institution, Providing forceful guarantee for Professors Taking Charge of Academic Study. This article analyses the pro- ductive way of positions and institutions in academic senate ,its duty, operational mechanism, its relationship with Administrative team and so on. This article believes that the system of American academic senate five features,including： its rules are maneuverable,its operationality are multiplex,professors are authoritative,its Operation Model is bottomup processing,and its members is representative.
