摘要
本文围绕语言符号的"任意性"与理据性,句法结构的"自治性"与体验性等重大语言哲学命题,以语音模式、物质名词、空间介词、双宾结构为例证,着重对语音、语义、语法不同层面上的语义动机进行多维研究,旨在揭示"意符"与"意指"之间的内在联系。研究分析表明,语言符号,作为音和义构成的配对结合体,其深层潜在着千丝万缕的认知互动,包蕴着丰富的文化内涵。
Motivated with the debates focusing on ＂＇arbitrariness＂ versus motivation, ＂autonomous＂ syntactic struc- tures versus cognitive product of embodied experience as important philosophical presuppositions in linguistic field, this paper, taking phonetic patterns, material nouns, spatial prepositions, and ditransitive constructions as its focus, explores semantic motivations underlying linguistic sign from a multidimensional perspective in terms of phonological structure, se- mantic structure, and symbolic structure, revealing the interrelations between the sign and the object it signifies, with re- spect to the non-arbitrariness in terms of ＂form-form＂ connections, ＂meaning-meaning＂ connections, and ＂form-mean- ing＂ relations. The finding of this study indicates that the intertwining dynamic cognitive relations exist between the ＂sig- nifier＂ and the ＂signified＂, with abundant cultural connotations.
