The study was conducted to compare the effects of cinnamon, yucca schidigera,SS and OFL extracts on emission of NH3,growth performance, immunity and blood biochemical indicators in broiler chicks.A total of 500 zero-day-old AA broiler chicks were randomly allocated to five experimental groups with four replicates of twenty-five chicks each.CFPE group received basal diet with CFPE 200 mg/kg,YE group with YE 200 mg/kg,SS group received basal diet with SS 200 mg/kg,OFL group with OFL 200 mg/kg,and the control received basal diet. The results showed that, compared with the control group, the test groups could significantly lessen the emission of NH3(P〈0.05),improve average daily mass gain, and reduce average feed-weight ratio(P〈0.05),the concentration of TP in serum was significantly increased, and the concentration of SUA,SUN and the activity of xanthine oxidase in serum were significantly decreased in all the test groups(P〈0.05).OFL group could significantly increase the content of CD4^+ and the ratio of CD4^+ and CD8^+ in blood and decrease the content of CD8^+ in blood(P〈0.05).These results indicated that feeding diets containing CFPF,YE,SS and OFL can increase ADG,ADFI and decrease F/G of broiler chicks, and strengthen the body's immune function. In decreasing the concentration of ammonia in the broiler house and improving the breeding environment,SS and OFL can achieve or even exceed CFPF and YE.
