Close to the Sun is the second film directed by Chou Chou, a native of southwestern China＇s Guizhou Province and a graduate of the Beijing Film Academy. The film was created to both unveil the unique charisma of Guizhou Province＇s picturesque natural scenery and its long-standing ethnic and cultural heritage.
