经测试,研制的风筒式紫外线空气消毒器开动8~30分钟,可将室内空气中的细菌减少99.9%以上。相对湿度、照射剂量、空气通过消毒器速度及有机物等,均可影响消毒效果。
In order to improve the disinfection of air in occupied room, an ultraviolet air washer of Tunnel type was developed. The main part of the air washer is an aluminum tunnel (35 cm in diameter, 120 cm long), in which a low ozone ultraviolet lamp (30 W) is installed and an electric fan is fitted at one end to drive the air flow through the tunnel. In an experiment carried out in a microorganism aerosol chamber of 20 m^3, the air washer could kill more than 99.9% of Serratia marcescens and Escherichia coli after working for 8 min,and showed similar effect on Staphylococcus albus and Bacillus subtilis var niger after operation for 15 and 30 min respectively. When the efficacy of the air washer in air disinfection was compared with that of ultraviolet upward irradiation by using S. albus as the test organism, the efficacy of the former was equivalent to 26.12 changes of air per hour, while that of the latter was only 6.29~7.62. Increase in air humidity or presence of organic matter in bacterial aerosol could reduce the disinfection efficacy, while increase in radiation dose could potentiate it. When the radiation dose was fixed , acceleration of passage of air through the tunnel resulted in attenuation of disinfection efficacy.
