摘要 目的:研究Galectin-3与β-catenin在结肠癌组织中的表达以及与临床病理特征之间的关系。方法:采用免疫组织化学SP法检测70例结肠癌、20例结肠腺瘤以及20例正常结肠上皮组织中Galectin-3与β-catenin蛋白的表达。分析其与结肠癌临床病理特征之间的关系。结果:在70例结肠癌中,52例呈现Galectin-3的阳性表达,43例阳性着色以胞浆为主;12例出现胞核阳性表达。Galectin-3的表达与肿瘤的大小、年龄没有关系,与分化程度、淋巴结转移和病理分期有关。实验发现存在β-catenin异常表达的肿瘤有58例,阳性染色以胞浆为主;在有淋巴结转移以及分化程度低的中晚期病例中,发现胞核阳性着色。结肠癌中,Galectin-3与β-catenin的表达呈现正相关。结论:Galectin-3是一种新的Wnt/β-catenin传导通路上的信号分子,它通过与β-catenin的特异性结合而促进肿瘤的发展。 Objective:To study the expressions of Galectin-3 and β-catenin proteins in colon carcinoma and the relationship with clinical pathologic features. Methods: The expressions of Galectin-3 and β-catenin proteins were detected by immuno-histochcmical technique in 70 cases of colon carcinoma,20 cases of adenoma and 20 cases of normal colon. The relationship with clinicopathologic fea- tures was analyzed. Results:There are 43 cases which express positive stain of Galectin-3 in cytoplasm while 12 cases positive stain in nucleus from 70 cases. There are 58 cases with abnormal expression of β-catenin protein from 70 cases. The expressions of Galectin-3 and β-catenin proteins were correlated with differentiation,lymph node metastasis, and TNM stage,but were unrelated to size of tumor or the age of patients. Conclusion: Galectin-3 is a novel signal protein in Wnt/β-catenin pathway, and it plays an important role for the de- velopment of colon carcinoma by binding to β-catenin.
