摘要
硫酸化是生物体内大分子物质翻译后修饰的重要途径,对其发挥生理功能极其重要。PAPS是体内活性硫酸根供体,它的合成需要在PAPS合成酶(PAPSS)的催化下进行。本文依据国内外相关研究,从PAPSS2基因的分子结构及其与大骨节病和骨性关节炎的发病机制方面综述了近年来的最新研究进展,结果表明,PAPS合成酶2(PAPSS2)的突变与大骨节病、骨关节炎等多种骨骼疾病的发生发展有关,是近年来研究的热点之一。
Sulfation is a widespread modification for many biologically active molecules. PAPSS(3'-Phosphoade- nosine 5'-phosphosulphate syntheses PAPSS), which are fundamental to mammalian sulphate metabolism, are required for the biosynthesis of PAPS, the sulfate donor in sulfation reactions. By reviewing the literatures from both abroad and China, this paper investigated the relationship between PAPSS2 and Kashin-Beck Disease and osteoarthritis and summarized their new progression from pathogenesis. The results show PAPSS2 is associated with the pathogenesis of Kashin-Beck Disease, osteoarthritis and other bone diseases in human with mutations in the PAPSS2 gene causing bone growth defects, and is one of the newest researches.
