摘要
文章对美国图书馆协会所属100多个组织机构编辑出版的期刊做了调研,经逐一调查,发现共有144种,包括该协会所列期刊一览表70种、经查询补充收集的各州和地区分会(该一览表未列入)的期刊,以及一些机构遗漏的期刊74种,特汇编整理成美国图书馆协会期刊系列一览表,并对这些期刊进行了简要归纳与分析。
The authors investigated the periodicals published by the American Library Association （ALA） and its 100 odd organizations and agencies, and found that there were altogether 144 kinds, including 70 in the ALA＇s list of the periodicals published by the ALA＇s division and division sections, offices, and round tables, and 74 by the ALA＇s state and regional chapters, and some other organizations, which are missed from the ALA＇s list, but added by the authors. On the basis of the newly compiled list, the authors sum up the main characteristics and make a brief analysis of the periodicals.
