Expression and Clinical Significance of MMP-3 and MMP-7 in Resorption of Intervertebral Disc Herniation

摘要 目的:检测腰椎间盘突出症患者突出椎间盘组织中基质金属蛋白酶3(MMP-3)、基质金属蛋白酶7(MMP-7)的表达,为研究椎间盘突出重吸收提供生化依据,以便进一步了解腰椎间盘突出组织重吸收的发生机制。方法:运用免疫组织化学法,通过兔抗人MMP-3、MMP-7的单克隆抗体,对30例突出腰症椎间盘标本进行染色。结果:在突出椎间盘组织中,破裂型比非破裂型MMP-3、MMP-7的阳性表达率更高,其差异有统计学意义。结论:MMP-3、MMP-7与椎间盘突出重吸收可能有关,破裂型比非破裂型更易于重吸收。 Objective: To detect the expression of matrix metalloproteinase 3 (MMP-3) and matrix metalloproteinase 7 (MMP 7) in the human lumbar disc tissue, and to provide biochemical basis for the study of resorption, in order to further study the mecbanism of resorption of the lumbar disc. Methods: Lumbar disc specimens in 30 patients with lumbar disc herniation were stained by immunohistochemistry. Results: In ruptured lumbar disc specimens, the expression of MMP3 and MMP-7 were higher than that in non-ruptured lumbar disc specimens, there was significant differences between the two groups. Conclusion: MMP-3 and MMP-7 may be related to the resorption of lumbar disc tissue in the patients with lumbar disc herniations, it was easier to be resorbed in ruptured lumbar disc specimens than that in non-ruptured lumbar disc specimens.
