摘要
语言与文化是相辅相成的,大学英语的教学不仅是语言的教学,也是文化的教学。本文结合我国大学英语教学的现状,探索性地构建了"4+2+1"大学英语文化教学的模式,力求寻找行之有效的大学英语文化教学的方法和途径,并通过一学年的教学实践证明了该教学模式有助于提升学生的文化知识和素养,提高了学生的英语综合应用能力。
Due to the intertwining nature of language and culture, teaching college English in China should be an on-going process of integrating culture knowledge teaching into language teaching. Taking full consideration of the present situation of college English teaching in China, this paper proposes a new teaching mode, namely＂4＋2＋l＂culture-based teaching mode, with an aim of looking for an effective solution and practical method of culture-based teaching. Through the one-year implementation of ＂4＋2＋l＂culture-based teaching mode, results prove its effectiveness in improving students＇ cultural accomplishment and knowledge, as well as a comprehensive mastery of language skills.
