摘要
中国翻译史可以说是一部合作翻译史,从持续千年的佛经翻译到明末清初的科技翻译,再到晚清的翻译高潮,合作翻译扮演着重要的角色。每一时期,因历史、文化背景不同,译者的修养不同,合作的策略也有所差异,各具其时代的特征。展望新时期正方兴未艾的翻译盛事,合作翻译因其特有优势还应该占有一席之地。
China＇s history of translation can be said to be a history of cooperative translation, which plays an important role in the translation of the Buddhist scriptures lasting almost a thousand years, the sci-tech translation at the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, as well as the translation climax at the end of late Qing Dynasty. As each period is characterized by its different historical and cultural background, and hence the translators＇different language proficiency, the strategies for cooperative translation are different. When we look ahead to the booming and promising era of translation, it is thought that the cooperative translation should deserve a place of its own.
