摘要
描述了Mastigoproctus的一个新种 ,Mastigoproctustransoceaniciussp nov 。新种是Mastigoproctus在亚洲的首次记录 ,与其美国佛罗里达州的M giganteus近似 ,但新种个体较小 ,胫节和跗节较为退化 ,以至触肢收缩时 ,3个指尖相互靠近和接触。新种的生殖腹板亦较为简单。
Mastigoproctus transoceanicus Lazell,sp nov is described from the continental shelf island of Shek Kwu Chau( 22°12′ and 113°59′E), in the South China Sea 21?km southeast of Victoria, Hong Kong Region The new species closely resembles the M giganteus representative from Florida but is smaller, has reduced tibiae and tarsi so that the three digit tips are juxtaposed when the pedipalp is flexed, and has simpler genital sternites Biogeography and trans Beringian distribution of the order are discussed
