：建国５０年来，武汉市经济发展大体经过了六个阶段，各行各业发展迅速，综合经济实力显著增强，人民生活水平逐步提高，居民收入不断增加。回眸５０年奋进的历程，为武汉市经济发展取得的成就而自豪，展望新世纪，武汉市的前景更加美好。
In the past fifty years, the economy of Wuhan had undergone six stages. Every profession developed quickly, comprehensive economic power strengthed greatly, level of human life raised gradually and people's incomes increased bit by bit. Looking back to the process of the past fifty years, we are proud of the achievements of Wuhan economy; looking forward to the new century, we are sure the future of Wuhan will become better and better.
