摘要
网络流量特性研究对网络性能管理、QoS等具有重要意义。针对目前对网络性能测试和性能评估的需要,设计了一种基于NetMagic的城域网流量仿真和分析方案。首先对NetMagic平台进行了概要介绍,然后提出了Poisson-Gamma的城域网流量模型,最后依据该模型使用NetMagic生成仿真流量,并对仿真流量的时域、概率密度分布与真实网络流量的统计结果进行比对,证明了该模型能够较为真实地反映城域网的网络流量特性。
The internet traffic model is the key issue for network performance management,Quality of Service management,and admission control.Aim to the hot point of the internet traffic,an analysis scheme of metropolitan area network was proposed based on NetMagic.The NetMagic is introduced first,the value of metropolitan area network model is given at the same time,and then the Poisson-Gamma model is proposed,we compare the PDF and time domain wave with real network traffic.Which shows how the model is well matched to real network traffic.
