Stability of emulsion is different when they are prepared by different surfactants and alkali.Organic alkali was added to make up compounded alkali system with inorganic alkali in order to alleviate scaling caused by inorganic alkali.Shengli petroleum sulfonate(SLPS)and sodium carbonate-triethylamine(TEA)were selected as experimental surfactant and alkali, and a compounded system was made up by these chemical agents. Some factors such as concentration of SLPS,bulk concentration of compounded alkalis, match of sodium carbonate and TEA which could affect the stability of emulsions were investigated. The results showed that stability of emulsions which were prepared by compounded system and heavy oil was most steady when concentration of SLPS was 0.6%,bulk concentration of compounded alkalis was 0.8%,match of sodium carbonate and TEA was 1.The dehydration rate was 18% under 60℃ and 3 h conditions.Adaptability of compounded system with inorganic salt, temperature and different viscosity heavy oil was evaluated. The results show that NaCl can generate synergistic effect with compounded system when its concentration is low,and stability of emulsion is enhanced.Stability of emulsion is declined sharply when obtain CaCl2 and MgCl2.Stability of emulsion ascends when viscosity of heavy oil decreases. It's also held that organic alkali would be one of the research directions of chemical flooding agents in oilfield.
