摘要
当下,我们学者借用西方理论与观念时,可能忽视了中国文学理论必须要建立在中国文学史与批评史基础上,而西方文学理论的局限性就表现在中西文学史与批评史发展的差异上,而一味地以其为方法来衡诸于中国文学,就显得背道而驰、南辕北辙?党圣元《返本与开新——中国传统文论的当代阐释》在当代文论陷入困境之时,思考的焦点问题是还原中国古代文论的本来面目,目的则是立足于中国文论的"当代性",实是一部别开生面的力作。

Does it ap- pear to draw further apart, apart to judge Chinese literature with the method of the western？ The focus of the problem in Dang Shengyuan＇s Returning to the Origin and Opening the New---- The Interpretation to the Contemporary of Chinese Traditional Literary Theory is to restore the true face of ancient Chinese literary theory when the contemporary literary theory is in trouble, aiming at being on the basis of the Contemporaneity of Chinese literary theory, which is real a entire- ly new work.
