摘要
针对March设计的SMAC培养基存在的缺点,作者对SMAC进行了改进。改良后的SMAC培养基与原配 方相比增强了对目的菌的鉴别能力,使发酵山梨醇的细菌具有鲜艳而稳定的红色菌落,提高了培养基的灵敏度。增强了 抑制杂菌的能力,对变形杆菌及球菌等杂菌具有完全抑制生长的作用,排除了许多杂菌在分离过程中的干扰作用。提高 了目的菌的检出率。经应用证明,改良SMAC完全可以成为分离EHEC:0157:H7理想鉴别培养基,值得推广应用。
sorbitol - macconkey culture medium (SMAC) invented by March was eithe poorly selective or too inhibitory. A description is given of the improved SMAC. The improved SMAC is better selective for aimdbacteria and stronger inhibitory for unwanted bacteria than SMAC. Bacteria of sorbitol fermentation produce bright and stable rec colonies. the growth of Proteus species and coccus et al. are completely inhibited. Detection rate of EHEC 0157: H7 is significantly increased in the improved SMAC than it in SMAC. It is proved that the improved SMAC is better than the existing SMAC for the isolation of EHEC 0157: H7 from various sources by clinical application and epidemic investigation. It is very valuable on application and spread.
