摘要
苗族非物质文化遗产的汉英翻译由于具有鲜明的少数民族特色,翻译时往往没有借鉴,而苗族非物质文化遗产不断被列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录的现状又迫切需要发展相关的外宣翻译以提高对外宣传质量。维索尔伦的顺应论为此翻译提供了新视角,探讨了苗族非物质文化遗产汉英翻译在具体语境下的动态顺应策略,并指出,译者在该策略指导下,主动或被动地选择归化、异化、直译、意译、零翻译、音译等方法所形成的译文都是主观、相对性判断程度不同的结果。
The C - E translation of ICH of Miao nationality will inevitably find no reference in view of the striking characteristics of the national culture. Nevertheless, it calls for the publicity-oriented texts with the increasing entry into the lists of Chinese intangible cultural heritage for the global cultural promotion. This paper integrates Verschueren's Adaptation Theory in discussing the C - E translation of ICH of Miao nationality. Under the guidance of the dynamic adaptation to the context, the translated versions are contributed with an extent of subjectivity or relativity, by actively or passively choosing the methods such as domestication, foreignization, hteral translation, free translation, zero-translation, transliteration, as alternatives.
