摘要
20世纪中期前后,英国教育理论界分析教育哲学异军突起。究其原因,主要有两点:其一,20世纪兴盛的分析哲学为分析教育哲学提供了方法论基础,没有分析哲学提供的逻辑实证主义和日常语言分析方法的帮助,分析教育哲学难以萌芽和迅速发展;其二,传统教育理论存在的明显不足为分析教育哲学的发展提供了间接的帮助,因为分析教育哲学是在批判传统教育理论的同时寻找到自身发展空间的。
The analytic philosophy of education in the UK had a sudden rise in the field of educational theory near the mid of the 20th century. There are at least two main reasons for explaining the phenomenon. One is that the prosperous analytic philosophy in the 20th century provides a methodological basis for the analytic philosophy of education, which can't germinate and develop rapidly without the help of logical positivism and ordinary language analysis methods provided by analytic philosophy. The other is that the traditional educational theories have some defects which provide the indirect help for the development of analytic philosophy of education, because the analytical philosophy of education finds a space of its own development while it criticizes traditional educational theories.
