The novel isomerization catalyst RIC-200 developed by SINOPEC＇s Research Institute of Petroleum Processing （RIPP） has been successfully applied in commercial scale at the Aromatics Plant of Yangzi Petrochemical Company （YPC）. The catalyst calibration tests have revealed that this catalyst has high reaction activity which is commen- surate with that of the world＇s best catalysts of similar nature albeit with much higher reaction selectivity, with its overall performance reaching a highest level in the world.
