摘要
美国发动的阿富汗战争已成为美国历史上最长的战争。这场战争之所以久拖不决,主要原因在于阿富汗地理环境和地缘政治态势极其复杂、阿富汗国内政治重建进程步履蹒跚、"反恐"行动不仅在国外而且在美国国内也遭到越来越多的批评等。从目前形势来看,美国尚无应对阿富汗困境的万全之策。其在阿富汗最乐观的前景可能仅在于阻止塔利班重新上台。
The U.S.war in Afghanistan has been the longest one in American history.The procrastination of the war is mainly due to the complicated geography and geopolitical environment of Afghanistan,the slowing process of the Afghan political rebuilding and the growing criticisms home and abroad on 'counter-terrorism'.In view of the current situation,there is no panacea for America to cope with its predicament in Afghanistan.What it can do in Afghanistan is no more than preventing Taliban from retaking office.
