摘要
采用X-射线衍射、扫描电镜及X-射线荧光分析方法,对广西合浦地区几个典型矿区的高铁低品级高岭土样品的矿物组成、化学成分及提纯方法进行了深入的研究。结果表明,高铁低品级高岭土原矿的矿物组成以石英、高岭石为主,云母类矿物和残余钾长石次之;扫描电镜观察显示高岭石呈完整或不完整的假六方鳞片状晶形;原矿Fe2O3和TiO2含量高,Fe2O3+TiO2>2.5%,经淘洗后,-0.045 mm粒级Fe2O3+TiO2含量甚至大于4%,这是影响其大规模应用的主要因素。
By means of X - ray diffraction, SEM and chemical analysis, mineral composition, chemi- cal components and purification methods studied on a high -iron containing, low -grade kaolin from several typical deposits in Guangxi . The kaolin raw ore mainly consist of quartz, kaolin, mica and k -feldspar. SEM reveals the complete and incomplete pseudo hexagonal scaly crystal of kaolin. The raw ore contains high Fe2O3 and TiO2 (more than 2.5% ). After elutriation, the -0.045mm parts contains more than 4% Fe203, which is the major factor affecting its large - scale application.
