摘要
分布式数据库的研究已有二十余年的历史。近年来,数据库的异构性与自治性,网络规模的膨胀以及移动计算技术的出现,都对分布式数据库技术提出了新的挑战。本文从网络数据库的组织、管理与访问,移动数据库技术等两个方向入手,讨论了分布式数据库研究所面临的几个新课题,最后对未来分布式数据库的发展前景作了展望。
Distributed databases have been studied for more than 20 years. Nowadays, the study for distributed databases is facing some new challenges, such as heterogeneity and autonomy of databases, scale of network, and emergence of mobile computing technology. This paper presents two new issues on distributed databases, which are the large network of autonomous databases and mobile databases. Finally, we decribe our expectation on distributed databases in the future.
