摘要 语法是语言教学的重要环节,也是高职学生的薄弱环节。测试对教学起着正反两方面的反拨作用。PRETCO语法测试的内容符合大纲的要求,题型略显单一,分值比例适中,总体上给教学带来了积极的反拨作用。与此同时,语法测试可加大口语语法考查力度,增加主观性试题的考核,并使英语应用能力衡量标准多样化。 Grammar is not only one of the important parts in the foreign language teaching and learning, but also a weakness for higher vocational college students. The language testing has both positive and negative washback on teaching or learning. The contents of the grammar testing in the PRETCO accord with requirements of the outline, and the proportion of points is appropriate, but testing genre is single. In general, grammar testing has a positive effect on teaching and learning. At the same time, the proportion of oral grammar testing and subjective questions can be increased in the PRETCO. Also, the criteria of practical English ability can be diversified.
