摘要
华裔美国社会学家杨庆堃(C.K.Yang)一生致力于中国社会研究,其学术洞察与思想创见不仅给后续性的研究带来了理论滋养和灵感,也彰显了中国社会研究对世界社会学理论的独特价值。本文以杨先生从求学到治学的人生历程为线索,在历史钩沉中重温了他对中国社会学重建所做出的卓越贡献。
As a sociologist,the study of China and building of an authentic Chinese Sociology were the center of Prof.Yang Ch'ing-Kun's intellectual commitments.This essay aims to describe his life and mention some of the historical landmarks of his period of the Twentieth Century in order to highlight C.K.Yang's important contribution to the study of Chinese society and to the re-establishment of Sociology in China during the late 1970s and 80's.
