摘要
很多中国美学史著作中的"孔子美学"均没有很好地阐释出孔子的美学精神,尽管早在20世纪初王国维、梁启超、梁漱溟等就对此进行了初步的尝试。实际上,孔子的"仁"与"兴"最好地体现了孔子的美学精神。"仁"的核心是对一己之私利有所超越的非功利性情怀。"兴"是与外在世界浑然为一的超越性的情感方式。孔子的这种美学精神,在功利主义盛行的当今有其重要的现实意义。
Many of the works on the history of Chinese aesthetics have failed to elaborate the aesthetic spirit of Confucius de- spite the early attempts in this regard made by people like Wang Guowei, Liang Qichao and Liang Shuming. In fact, Confucius's conceptions Ren(benevolence) and Xing( unity with nature) best embody his aesthetic spirit because the core of Ren is to transcend one's selfish interests and Xing is to lose one's individual being in the greater Nature. This aesthetic spirit of Confucius is of tremendous significance to the present age when utilitarianism reigns.
