摘要
五四时期在中国现代民俗学和中国现代文学同步展开的时代语境下,民间文学作为民俗文化的一个分支,其价值也被五四一代知识分子们发现,新文学作家们开始重新审视并在他们的创作中运用民间文学,沈从文也不例外。"筸人谣曲""劳动号子""小调"这三种形式的民间文学在沈从文乡的土小说中体现最为鲜明,沈从文众多文本中都对它们进行了移用,使得其乡土小说创作无论是在增添文本表现的地方性色彩还是在刻画鲜明的人物形象这两个向度上都起到了事半功倍的作用,进而鲜明地服务于其乡土小说写作的美学意蕴,体现出了"作家文学"与"民间文学"之间的不可忽视的深厚关系。
