摘要
测定590例健康老年人空腹血清甲状腺激素水平,并与100例中青年对照组进行比较。结果表明:健康老年人血清T_s、T_4水平随年龄增长逐渐显著下降,男女之间无显著差异。以每10年为一组,各年龄组之间有显著性差异(P<0.05),T_3变化最为显著,大约每10年下降0.19nmol/L,与此同时血清rT,逐渐上升,血清TSH不变。本资料结果说明老年人甲状腺激素合成和释放减少,外周组织中5′脱碘酶活性减低。
Serum concentrations of T_8、T_4、T_3 and TSH were measured in 590 healthy elderly subjects, and compared with 100 adults under 50 years. Identical serum thyroid hormone levels were found in both sexes. The results show that mean serum T, and T_3 levels were significantly lower in the elderly subjects than in the adults under 50 years, and gradually decreased with increase of age The decline of T_3 was the most significant and 0.19 nmol/L each decade. Meanwhile the serum (?)T_3 were gradually iaerased with increase of age. Serum TSH levels remained unchanged. These findings suggest that (1) the production aad release of thyroidal T_3 and T_4 may be decreased in elderly subjects, (2) the activity of peripheral 5'-deiodinas in deripheral.
