摘要
与中国的其他少数民族相比,以维吾尔族为主体的三语习得过程显得更加艰难和复杂。通过分析学生的调查问卷和师生访谈,探讨新疆维吾尔族大学生三语习得的障碍,研究结果显示:教材、学时、学习目标、母语和汉语的干扰等都是影响三语习得的主要因素,三语习得者的汉语水平与各种外语考试的通过率成正比,英语语法是英语学习中最难掌握的要素,对少数民族学生来说原版电影及网络是对学习英语帮助最大的方式,其次是课外读物、外教和朋友。针对调研的结果提出克服三语习得障碍的对策,表明建立三语习得教学体系的重要性。
Compared with other minorities in China,the process of the third or additional language acquisition represented by Uyghur college sdudents,appears to be longer and more difficult.The student questionnaire and interviews with teachers are analysed to find out the barriers of the English study of Uyghur college students in Xinjiang.The findings show that teaching materials,class hours,objectives,interference of the mother tongue and Chinese all play an important part in the masterary of the third language.The Chinese level of the learners of third or additional language acquisition is proportional to the passing rate of all kinds of foreign language tests.The English grammar is the most difficult element in English study.To minority sdudents,English films and network are most helpful,and next come out-of-class reading materials,foreign teachers,and friends.Strategies are proposed to overcome the barriers of third or additional language acquisition,pointing out that it is of importance to construct the teaching system of third or additional language acquisition.
