British ecocricitism inherits the traditions of cultural studies with their evident cultural and political positions. It has expanded the scope of literary studies by way of reevaluating literary classics from the perspective of ecocritism, which focuses on the future as it relates to humankind. It is a green turn of cultural studies. The ecocritics in Britain reveal the complicated political and ecological issues hidden in the works of romanticist. They dig out a sense of place embodied in the romantic poems, which is the result of the harmony between mind and nature. Their research has offered an optional interpretation of romantic poems and enabled us to have a deeper understanding of the value of romantic poems in modern times.
