摘要
为了配合复合型英语人才培养目标,各高校纷纷推出ESP课程。然而不论从理论上还是从实践上来看,我国高校英语专业的ESP教学尚未进入到成熟阶段。其中的原因至少有三个:一是对ESP课程的内涵尚不清楚;二是没有解决好高校英语专业ESP课程定位问题;三是对目前ESP课程教学中出现的问题尚无针对性的对策。本文围绕ESP课程的内涵,对英语专业ESP课程的定位、出现的问题和对策做一探讨。
Foreign language departments in universities have offered ESP courses in respond to the call to develop interdisciplinary English talents. However, in theory or in practice, ESP courses for English majors are still immature. The reasons can be found in three aspects: first, teachers are not so well with the nature of the courses; second, the problems of how to set ESP courses properly into the curriculum for English majors have not been solved; third, there are still not proper solution to the problems in ESP teaching. This paper is aimed to discuss the setting of ESP courses, and dwell on the problems and settlements of their teaching.
