《上古音系》书船及部分章母拟喉冠hlj、■及■,因l后来腭化变■,故可以去j,而hlj、■、■则随lj变邪而变"心从精",归于精组。
The initial of Shu（书）, Chuan（船） and a part of the initial of Zhang（章） are reconstructed as the pre-guttural sound hlj filj and ？lj in the old Chinese Phonology. Afterwards 1 was palatalized as y-j, and so j was abandoned, lj became a part of the initial of Xie（邪）, and along with the fact, hlj, filj, ？lj developed into the initial of Xin（心）, Cong（从）, Jing（精）, included in Group Jing（精） initials.
