As the 18th president of Princeton University, Harold Shapiro has no doubt made a significant contribution. During his tenure, Shapiro implemented many measures to promote Princeton University. The measures included that teaching reform to improve the quality of teaching, raising funds and complete the most successful fund-raising activity in Princeton＇s history, establishing new research projects to promote the development of teachers＇and students＇ research capability, affording students financial assistance to release students＇ financial burden, renovating school buildings to shape more beautiful and more comfortable campus environment, and so on. All these measures have greatly promoted the development of Princeton University.
