摘要 大学英语作为一门人文通识教育课程,承载起语言教学与人文教育的双重使命。将文学与语言教学有机融合是促进英语教学人文性回归的有效途径;立足文本,以"细读"作为阅读教学的关键环节,旨在杜绝急功近利、肤浅浮躁的教、学风气和阅读习惯,提高学生深度阅读能力和思辨能力,实现阅读教学工具性和人文性的统一。 Generally classified as a course of liberal education, College English should undertake the dual mission of language teaching and humanistic education. To achieve this purpose, this paper, based on the analysis of the current problems about college English reading instruction, proposes that literature should be integrated into language teaching meaningfully. The paper also postulates close reading as the basic and key means in reading instruction in an attempt to avoid the shallow and blundering reading and to promote students' linguistic skills as well as literary appreciation and critical thinking.
