地方性本科院校英语专业学生跨文化敏感度和跨文化交际能力调查 被引量:4

A Survey of the Intercultural Sensitivity and Intercultural Communication Competence of English Major in Local Undergraduate Universities

摘要 本研究对重庆文理学院118名英语专业学生的跨文化敏感度和跨文化交际能力进行了调查。结果表明,其跨文化敏感度5个因素中交际专注度最高,其次是交际信心和差异认同感,交际愉悦感和交际参与度远远低于其他3个因素,学生的跨文化敏感度整体水平不高。通过皮尔逊相关分析,发现学生的差异认同感与交际参与度不具备显著相关性。这一看似与预期结果和其他学者研究结果差异较大的结论表明了在真实场合中差异认同感与交际参与度并无根本性联系。此外,研究表明商务方向学生的跨文化敏感度整体水平明显高于师范方向的学生,而对学生进行的跨文化交际能力测试的结果也验证了这一点,跨文化敏感度与跨文化交际能力具有高度的一致性。 The authors make a survey on the intercultural sensitivity and intercultural communication competence of 118 English major in Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences. The research shows that the score of interaction attentiveness is the highest one; the less higher ones are interaction confidence and respect for cultural differences; and interaction enjoyment and interaction engagement are far lower than other three factors. The analysis of the result shows that there is no significant correlation between the comprehensive level of intercultural sensitivity of the students is relatively low. Through Pearson correlation analysis, it shows that the respect for cultural differences and interaction engagement of the students. This result that seems quite different from the expected result and other scholars' research conclusions proves that there is no radical relationship between respect for cultural differences and interaction engagement on real intercultural communication occasions. In addition, the study indicates that the comprehensive level of intercultural sensitivity of the students who major in business English is obviously better than that of the students who major in normal English which is also proved by the test on the intercultural communication competence of the students, and the conclusions show that intercultural sensitivity is highly consistent with intercultural communication competence.
