摘要
作为新的地域现象,城市-区域成为西方近几十年来城市地理学界研究的热点。通过对相关文献的总结,梳理出"城市-区域"概念的演进过程和城市-区域形成机制的研究脉络,指出了城市-区域研究的新动向。城市-区域概念是在"世界城市—全球城市—全球城市网络"概念基础上理论创新而来的;多数学者认为全球化是城市-区域形成的重要驱动力,部分学者认为城市-区域是内生的过程;理解城市-区域的动态过程并比较分析这一过程中的多样性成为该领域未来研究的焦点。
City-region, as a new configuration of city development, has become the hot topics among urban geography researchers in recent decades in western. This article, basing on summarizing the relevant research re- sults, analyzes the evolution process of the city-region conception and the development of city-region, and points out the new trends in the study of city-region. The concept of city-region has come out basing on the concept of ＂world city--global city--global city network＂. Some scholars argue that globalization is the important driving force in the developing of city-region, some don＇ t think so. It will become the research focus in the future to understand the developing process of city-region and its diversity in comparative view.
