摘要
文化建设是“五位一体”的中国特色社会主义事业的总体布局中的一个方面，关系弘扬中国精神、铸造凝心聚力的兴国之魂和强国之魄，至关重要。文化建设中的传承与借鉴又是这一工作中必须正确认识和处理的一大问题。本文试图就这一问题提出个人的理解，就正于学术界同仁。
The construction of culture with Chinese characteristics cannot be separated from the inheritance and reference of Chinese traditional culture and foreign culture.We must solve the problem on the Chinese standpoint with the contemporary vision,following the law of cultural development,the current and long-term needs of China,in order to accept the good,reject the bad,and make it serve for ourselves.The absolute approval or negation cannot be accepted.We must oppose the new revivalism and national nihilism.On the other hand,we must oppose the total westernization.High self-importance and low self-esteem must be rejected.The tendencies of confusing the beauty and ugliness must be objected.
