句容宝华山山龙眼化石植物群的发现及其在气候学和植物学上的意义 被引量:21

摘要 本文依据南京句容宝华山华山口—储山口人工渠道剖面发现的5100aB.P.的植物果实和孢粉组合特征,应用Convex-CI 机对该植物群中最具有代表性的山龙眼(Helicla)生长的8种气候因子进行逐步判别分析,从而定量估算5100aB.P.宝华山最冷月平均温度较今高6.3℃,≥5℃年积温较今高1300℃,年平均温度较今高3.5℃。该植物群的研究不仅为探讨全新世高温期提供了植物学证据,而且为了解该区植物区系组成和植被发展增添了历史植物地理学资料。 The paper deals with the fossil fruits of Helicia,Castanopsis,Lithocarpus,Cyclobalano-psis,Quercus,Dracontomelon,Drype(?)es,Dysoxylum,Aphanamixis,Melia,Liquidambar,Sino-jackia,Pinus etc.and abundant pollen and spores obtained from digging a irrigation canalprofile at Huashankou-Chushakou in Baohuashan of Jurong County,Nanjing.Judging from the nature of plant macrofossils,sporo-pollen assemblages and radiocarbondatings,at 5100 a B.P.the Baohuashan regions used to be covered by middle subtropical ever-green broad-leaved forest,predominant of Fagaceae,Lauraceae,Euphorbiaceae,Magnoliaceaeand Proteaceae.Meanwhile,some broad-leaf deciduous trees might have grown in the hillregions.It is generally recognized that the vegetation are the reflection of a comprehensive assem-blage of environment changes.According to the distribution of Helicia reticulata,H.cochin-chinensis and H.hainansis in the middle subtropical zone of China in connection with the8 climatic factors and by stepwise discrimination analysis the climatic history of Baohuashanregions at 5100 a B.P.has been reconstructed.So we preliminarily conclude that the climatethen was warm with the minimum month temperature in January about 6.3℃ higher thantoday,and the annual accumulation temperature of ≥5℃ was about 1300℃ higher than present,and the probable annual mean temperature was 3.5℃ higher than now.The current records of fossil fruits and the information of sporo-pollen analysis in Bao-huashan area have already helped us in understanding some problems of paleobotany and paleo-climate of hypsithermal interval in Holocene and will give us more knowledge for predict-ing future climate but the paleoecologicai significance of the vegetation changes cannot beassessed satisfactorily with the present data.
