The present industry status and market demand of polycrystalline silicon at home and abroad were introduced emphatically. The problems existing in China＇ s polycrystalline silicon industry included unadvanced technology, small production scale, imperfect supporting industry, incomplete industrial chain and weak market. Suggestions on the development of China＇ s polycrystaUine silicon industry were put forward, including the advancement of technology, the optimization of distribution to form industrial chain, and the launch of expansion in domestic demand.
