Progress on Tobacco-Leaf Proteins

摘要 烟叶蛋白在自然界中极为重要而且含量丰富,其中包含烟叶可溶蛋白和烟叶不溶蛋白两种蛋白质。烟叶蛋白的营养价值类似于牛奶蛋白,可以作为一种优质的食品来源。同时,由于烟叶产量高、基因易被操纵、对食物链没有污染,用烟叶生产重组蛋白具有非常大的优势,它们将继续作为疾病诊断、预防或治疗的主要重组蛋白而被使用。本文对烟叶蛋白的研究现状以及用烟叶生产重组蛋白进行了概括介绍。 Tobacco-leaf proteins are one type of most important and abundant protein in nature, mainly classified into two parts of proteins : soluble and insoluble. Tobacco-leaf proteins are supposed to be a source of food supply with nutrition value similar to that of milk protein. Meanwhile, tobacco leaves have many advantages for recombinant protein production, including the high biomass yield, ease of gene manipulation, protection against food- chain contamination, and thus will continue to be a major source of recombinant proteins for use in disease diagnosis, prevention or treatment. A brief history for discovery of tobacco-leaf proteins and the progress of production of recombinant proteins have been presented herein.
