On April 16, 2013, Brazil Technical Equipment and Maintenance Association (Sobratema) held a press conference at bauma 2013. On the conference, Mr. Marques made an overall introduction (see this issue) of Brazil Construction and mining machinery market between 2013 and 2017. At the same time, the chairman of Sobratema introduced some organization and preparation situations concerning the exhibition. It is estimated that the technological construction with key investment developed in Brazil in the coming 5 years will boost the development of the key Construction machinery industry and heavy equipment spare parts industry as well as the whole supply and service chain. Meanwhile, the sales amount of the Construction machineries will increase by 10.6% averagely till 2017. At present, Sobratema are holding three exhibitions, of which the most famous one is the M&T Expo-International Exhibition of Construction and Mining Equipment. In 2011, Sobratema launched another two professional trade shows, including Construction Expo–International Trade Show of Solutions for Construction & Infrastructure which will be held from June 5 to 8, 2013. And it is predicted that the second session exhibition, the M&T Parts and Services–Latin-American Trade Fair of Parts and Services for Construction and Mining, will be held from June 4 to 7, 2014. he three exhibitions are held in turn every three years. he situations concerning the construction and mining machinery market of Brazil and the details of the exhibitions will be involved by this editorial.
