This paper introduces the general situation of Harbin Medical University’s sci-tech novelty retrieval work, and taking the library of Harbin Medical University as an example, expounds the necessity of improving the medical literacy of medical sci-tech novelty retrieval operators, and probes into some relevant measures for improving the medical literacy of medical sci-tech novelty retrieval operators.
