摘要
虽然RV144 AIDS疫苗临床试验观察到了部分保护效果,但远未达到临床应用的要求,其保护水平有待进一步提高。鉴于抗体反应和T细胞反应在抵抗和控制HIV-1感染过程中的重要作用,我们认为可以通过同时活化有效的抗体反应和T细胞反应来提升AIDS疫苗的保护效果。在国家传染病重大专项课题的资助下,本实验室设计了一套针对我国HIV-1流行株的AIDS疫苗策略,本文简要介绍我们的设计方案及主要研究进展。
Ahhough tile RV144 trial reported an AIDS vaccine regimen confen'ed certain protection against HIV acquisition, tile vaeeine is far from being used in clinical practice for the low protection rate. Since both humoral and cellular immune responses play important roles in inhibiting and controlling HIV-1 infection, we believe tile efficacy of AIDS vaccine can be further improved if the two arms of adaptive immune systems can work synergistically. Supported by the National Science and Technology Key Project on Major Infectious Diseases, our laboratot7 designed a vaccine strategy against major circulating HIV-I subtypes in China. This review briefly introduces the rationale of our design and major achievements.
