Empirical Research on the Relationship between Factor Inputs and Technological Innovation Based on Nonlinear Smooth Transition Autoregressive Model——Taking High Tech Industries in China as an Example

摘要 基于1995—2010年我国高技术产业面板数据,采用非线性STR模型,对要素投入与技术创新之间的关系进行实证研究。研究发现:要素投入与技术创新之间存在非线性关系;在不同的区位条件下,各要素投入对技术创新的作用发生了显著变化;以对外开放程度为转换变量的模型最为准确地反映了要素投入与技术创新之间的非线性关系。 This paper researches the relationship between factor inputs and technological innovation based on nonlinear pan- el smooth transition autoregressive model utilizing Chinese high tech industry provincial-level panel data from 1995 to 2010. The result shows that: the relationship between factor inputs and technological innovation showed a significant nonlinear characteristic. The impact of factor inputs on technological innovation varied significantly in different location conditions. The model which takes openness as the conversion variable is the most accurate model reflecting the nonlinear relationship between factor inputs and technological innovation.
