The process for the purification of acetylene with sulphuric acid was introduced as well as the structure and materials of the sulphuric acid purification tower. Problems occurred dur- ing the initial start-up of the plant for purification of acctylcnc with sulphuric acid in Xinjiang SNXON Encrgy Co. , Ltd. wcrc discusscd as well as thc solving mcthods.
